Memo Paris Presents Cinéhaiku Film Festival

Press Release:

As you know, Memo as always been involved in the artistic field, our various collaborations with photographers and illustrators testify it.

2017 celebrates our 10th anniversary, so we decided to go further in our artistic commitment.

An association called Cinéhaïku has been created to allow young film makers express their talent through a short film competition, that will end with a festival in Gordes, one of the most beautiful village of France, in the Lubéron, July 2017.

The principle is simple: anyone can enroll on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cinehaikuofficial/) through our official website (http://www.cinehaiku.com/fr/accueil/), in order to send a 30 seconds maximum length film, visually revisiting the rules of the haikus (Japanese poem of 3 verse). This competition rewards each week a winner with a financial grant. The final winner will be determined at the July festival by a jury from the artistic and cinematographic world, and rewarded with a financial prize.

This festival will be renewed each year from now on. The competition was launched a few days ago, and at the moment we are working with the best French and European film schools that support our project.

These films will travel throughout the world, through exhibitions in art galleries and in our partner stores. Of course, they will also be a springboard for our visual communication, since we will be able to use them to illustrate our fragrances in all communication medias.

We want to make it a global event, and develop a new communication medium: we would like you to be part of it.

You will find attached our press kit and the link to our powerpoint below explaining the details of this contest of visual poetry.
